Our Story

U-Sense.IT was founded as a ground-breaking start-up in 2020, engineered by Università Politecnica delle Marche through a group of highly skilled professionals in contactless and portable optical measurement systems.

The U-Sense.IT team designs and manufactures portable, smart, and contactless optical measurement instruments for a variety of industrial applications.

2019

The Origins of the Project

The first prototype of the laser profilometer was created as a Key Exploitable Result of the Horizon 2020 GO0DMAN project, launching our vision to make measurement smarter and more accessible

2020

The Foundation of U-Sense.IT

Emerging from the research experience of the Polytechnic University of Marche, U-Sense.IT was founded as an academic spin-off dedicated to turning innovation into practical industrial solutions

2021

AI and Design Innovation

Our profilometer was enhanced with AI algorithms, boosting performance and data analysis. In the same year, we obtained our first patent and introduced VISIR for induction cooktop inspection
